Safeguarding Your Practice: Proactive Risk Management for Lawyers

An On-Demand Lawyers Professional Liability Educational Platform

As an Old Republic Lawyers Professional policyholder, you have access to our industry-leading self-study website. This specialized website provides access to a two-hour course that will help you identify exposures in your legal practice and provide relevant techniques that can help you manage and minimize your professional liability risks. This easy-to-use platform is accessible from any computer, laptop, or tablet.
Your Old Republic Lawyers Professional policy number is required for registration. (If not an Old Republic Lawyers Professional policyholder, please enter PL XX000000 00 00 in the policy number field.) Please follow the steps below:

Access the LPL Educational Platform

Enroll: Begin by clicking the “Register” button in the bottom right-hand corner of the registration page. Fill in the required form fields and then click “Register” to continue.
 
Access the course: Click “Follow this Link” under Web Access to launch the program. You will also receive an email with these instructions. Please note that the system tracks your login time and will require you to randomly interact with the program through its completion to comply with state CLE requirements.
 
Technical Assistance: For more information, contact a BeaconLive Helpdesk at helpdesk@beaconlive.com or call (877) 297-2901. The Helpdesk is available on weekdays from 8:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m. EST. Outside these hours, please leave a message and a Helpdesk representative will respond to your message on the next business day.

Premium Credit: Policyholders are eligible for premium credit for completing the risk management course. Please check with your broker for details.

CLE Inquiries

You will be able to complete the necessary information for processing your CLE certificate at the end of the program. It will be emailed directly to you from registration@beaconlive.com. Please check your spam/ junk folder if you have not received your CLE certificate. Lawyers seeking credit in some jurisdictions must self-report their CLE credit to the appropriate CLE authority. Click the button below to determine whether your jurisdiction requires self-reporting.
